Preschoolers)...
Our
next MoPS session is Friday 18th May 2012
9.45am to
11.30am on 1st & 3rd
Friday of the month during term time - £2
Our MoPS
mums will be the first to admit that being a mum is not always
easy. MoPS began in US army bases where stressed mums would
meet
up for the usual heart to heart, but cleverly
a few would take it in turns
to act as creche so the others could chat in peace.
Our group is run by (some very nice) members of our church
who know that without the help
and support
of
mums
in the
same
boat, these early years can feel isolating and lonely especially
when everyone else seems so happy.
At MoPS
we usually enjoy a bit of creativity, talks,
some fabulous
homemade cakes and a cuppa or two. We have an excellent team
of CRB checked church volunteers who look after the children
with separate rooms for babies and for toddlers whilst our
mums
are pampered
in the luxury of uninterrupted adult conversation.
